Restro Captain – Restaurant Waiter, Table and Order Management App

The Restro Captain App is a powerful restaurant order-taking and table management add-on for RestroPro SaaS POS Software. Designed for restaurant captains, waiters, and service staff, it helps your team manage tables, take customer orders, send KOTs to the kitchen, collect payments, and track order progress in real-time.

With real-time synchronization, offline order support, table management, thermal printer integration, and fast menu browsing, Restro Captain helps restaurant staff handle dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders efficiently from a mobile device or tablet.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is an ADD-ON mobile application. It is NOT a standalone product. You MUST separately purchase, install, and deploy the main product: RestroPro SaaS POS Software

Restro Captain requires a compatible RestroPro SaaS backend to perform its core ordering, synchronization, payment, and restaurant management functionality. The RestroPro SaaS platform/backend is NOT included with this purchase.

The “PRO” in Restro PRO is part of the brand name and does not represent a paid upgrade tier over a free version. There is no separate free “Restro Lite”/ “Restro Free”/ “Restro” platform.

Important: External Costs & Requirements

• Third-Party Services: The app may use third-party services such as Firebase, Expo/EAS, APNs, hosting providers, or other external services depending on your configuration. Some services provide free usage tiers, but additional charges may apply if usage exceeds those limits or paid features are used. Any third-party service charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are NOT included in this purchase.
• Server Hosting (Required): Restro Captain depends on your separately deployed RestroPro SaaS backend. Server and hosting costs are charged by your hosting provider and are NOT included in this purchase.
• Developer Account Fees (For Publishing): Publishing the app under your own brand may require an Apple App Store and/or Google Play developer account. Any developer account fees are charged directly by Apple or Google and are NOT included in the purchase price.
• Printer Hardware: Printer hardware is NOT included with the purchase of Restro Captain. Buyers must purchase, install, connect, and configure their own compatible printer separately.
• LAN/TCP Printer Setup: For LAN/TCP printing, buyers are responsible for connecting their thermal printer to their own local network, configuring the required Ethernet/LAN cable, router or Wi-Fi network, static IP address, port settings, and other required network configuration.

• Variants & Add-Ons: Select product variants and add-ons with real-time price updates before adding an item to the order.
• Special Instructions: Add custom preparation instructions such as “no onion”, “less spicy”, or other customer requests.
• Dine-In, Takeaway & Delivery Orders: Create and manage different order types directly from the Captain App.
• Send Directly to Kitchen: Send orders directly to the kitchen/KOT workflow without collecting payment immediately.
• Pay & Checkout: Collect payment, complete the order, and generate invoice information directly from the Captain App.
